Used refrigerant "buyback" program
If you have used or dirty refrigerant to dispose of, Refron can help you
recover them and turn them into a valuable asset. Our refrigerant "buyback"
program will provide you with loaner cylinders for your recovery jobs, and pay
you the best prices in the industry for the used refrigerants you return.
Minimum quantities apply (no 50-lb. cylinders, please), and freight is usually
free. Since its inception in 1992, this program has been extremely successful,
with millions of lbs. returned and millions of $$ paid. Call to find out more.
Refrigerant cleaning and banking programs
If you anticipate needing your used or dirty refrigerant for current or
future uses, you can benefit from our refrigerant cleaning services, or our
refrigerant banking program. We can clean your refrigerant to ARI-700 purity and
return it to you ready for reuse, at a reasonable cost. If you expect to need
your cleaned refrigerant in the future but don't want the responsibility of
keeping it on hand, we can store your refrigerant in a "bank" account for you,
allowing you to withdraw it when you need it. Lastly, for multi-location
corporations we offer an "ATM" style banking program, in which withdrawals of
banked refrigerant can be made in smaller quantities to each of your
geographically diverse locations as they need it.
Mixed refrigerant disposal
Do you have R12/R22 refrigerant mixtures? R12/R134a? R11/R12? Refron has a
variety of disposal options for these and other refrigerant mixtures, including
incineration, selective destruction, and separation. In addition, Refron has
been awarded a research grant by the New York State Energy Research Development
Authority (NYSERDA) to explore non-distillation separation techniques for
refrigerants. Talk to us about your problem refrigerants, and we will recommend
the least costly approach.
Refrigerant purity testing
Refron maintains a fully equipped Refrigerants Analysis laboratory which can
assist you in analyzing the purity of your refrigerants. Whether you are
concerned with moisture, oil content, mixed refrigerants, non-condensable gases
or other contaminants, we can give you the analyses you need to help you make
the best informed decisions.
Integrated electronic management of your account
Because your time is so very valuable, we make sure to have all the
information we need to service your account right at our fingertips. When you
call to place an order or make an inquiry, we can see instantly your account
status, past and pending orders, recent price quotes, technician certification
status, results of any special discussions we have had, special instructions you
may have left, used refrigerant return status, refrigerant bank balances,
available inventory near you ....in short, the whole story. Whether you deal
with one person at Refron, multiple people, or even people from our different
regional offices, our online integrated database system keeps everyone updated
and responsive to your needs.
